Ruth naigaga

My name is Ruth Naigaga, a professional Social worker and a Child Protection Specialist with close to 15 years’ work experience. I am joining Mona-woh with a strong academic background in supporting individuals overcome life-threatening issues, the extensive experience in protecting and safeguarding vulnerable children and a steadfast commitment to serving the marginalised individuals in the hard-to-reach communities.

I am professionally and technically driven by an innate passion of seeing children and families getting and working together for a positive change. In my work, I usually flourish while engaged with Children and Families, managing such investigative allegations of child neglect, abuse as well as working with the court systems to provide and ensure their safety.

In my course of work with vulnerable children and struggling families, I have learnt the beauty of building strong and trustworthy relationships that not only ensures the beneficiaries safety and well-being but also molds and grows me both as an individual and a professional in this critical development arena.

In the stream of protecting the vulnerable, I have been involved in work that enables and helps teenagers handle their transition phase with more comfort and maturity. I can therefore say that my passion of seeing families and communities not only identifying their challenges but also coming together to navigate to demand and avail themselves with such needed services

In the likely manner with Mona-woh, I come to offer families professional support that will foster growth and empowerment as we work to improve their well-being. Through the family visits, mothers’ sensitization sessions and welfare assessments that will periodically be conducted, Mona-woh will be in position to not only walk with single mothers on their healing journey but build families to thrive as well.
